The Blood of Dawnwalker Endings & Epilogue Outcomes
Every ending route in one place: the four main finale endings, the early endings, the time-limit outcome, the best save point for seeing several endings, and how the same ending can still produce a different epilogue.
The ending name is decided by which finale route you finish. Everything that happens to individual characters is added on top as your epilogue.
Most launch guides organise The Blood of Dawnwalker around seven named ending outcomes, but some count additional secret or special variations separately. For this guide we separate:
Main finale routes
The four endings decided by the final route.
Early endings
Runs that end before the finale, including leaving the Valley and the Home Sweet Home sequence.
Time-limit outcome
Letting the 30-day deadline expire produces its own story outcome rather than a generic Game Over.
Special variations
Extra variants that some guides fold into the total and others list separately.
We then treat the epilogue separately, because two players can reach the same main ending and still see different character and world outcomes.
Want to See Multiple Endings?
Keep a manual save before the final route commitment. If you also want an ally-specific ending, finish the Lacra or Manumit route preparation before you make that save.
Four endings come from the main finale, two end your run early, and one is a time-limit failure. Each group is decided at a different point, so the save you need is different too.
Main Finale Endings
Main ending
The Turncoat
Betray your allies and take Brencis’s deal.
Core requirement
Follow the Brencis deal route: attend the parley, take the hideout objective, mark the Manumit hideout and let the betrayal resolve.
Finale route
A Deal with the Devil
Achievement
The Turncoat
Reveal how to get them
Marking the hideout starts the betrayal sequence. The ending itself is only committed once that sequence resolves.
Let the 30 days expire without completing the main finale.
No — needs an earlier save
No dedicated trophy
What Happens If the 30 Days Run Out?
Running out of time triggers the Time Runs Out bad ending instead of one of the four main finale endings.
Letting the deadline expire produces its own story outcome rather than simply showing a generic Game Over. The limit keeps running while you explore and complete objectives, so check what advances a day before you spend time on side content.
Can you get them in one playthrough? Yes, if you prepare your questlines and keep the right manual saves.
The four main endings all branch from the finale, so you can reload a save before the final commitment and finish each route separately. The two early endings happen earlier, so they need their own saves.
Prologue
Save A — before the early endings
Keep this save before you leave the Valley so you can reach A Hero They Deserve.
Midgame
Save B — before the Home Sweet Home sequence
Keep this save before that sequence so you can go back to it for Together Forever.
Before the finale
Save C — before the final Brencis routes
Keep one save before the finale with Lacra’s chain ready, Crake’s chain ready and the Brencis parley available. Reload it to finish The Folk Hero, The Turncoat, The Patricide and The Knyazmaker.

The Folk Hero
The Patricide

Time Runs Out
Do not spend a main save on this one. It needs a run that lets the 30 days expire, so keep it separate from your ending saves.
Early-ending saves need to be kept separately, because those outcomes happen before finale.
The main way the story concludes — one of the seven named outcomes.
Your epilogue
The character and world outcomes added on top, based on earlier choices.
Reaching the same headline ending does not guarantee the same epilogue. Earlier choices determine separate outcomes for major characters, factions and the Valley itself. Two players can finish The Patricide and still see different results for Anca, Marat, Ocha or the Valley.
Locking your main ending does not lock every epilogue outcome at the same time.
The 12 Epilogue Dimensions
The epilogue is assembled from multiple independent outcome dimensions, so players with the same main ending can still receive different character and world conclusions.

Anca
What changes this epilogue?
Survival
Quest outcome
Romance
Leaving the Valley
Font of Life choice
Why can this ending change?
Survival, romance and her Font of Life choice all change her epilogue without renaming your main ending.
Reveal full epilogue consequences
[give in to the hunger] during Anca’s questline (Stronger Than Achilles / Where Old Devils Lie) can kill her. The same prompt in The Heart Wants What It Wants kills Ocha instead.
“Leaves me hungry for more.” commits Anca romance.
“Don’t give up like that.” affects whether she leaves the Valley.
“I love you.” is an upstream confession, not the romance commit.
Two questions are enough for a first read. The Ending Calculator then checks which endings are still reachable on your save and what your epilogue may look like.
Answer the major decisions to see which endings are still reachable.
A Hero They Deserve and Together Forever end the run before the finale, so they are not decided by these answers. Time Runs Out is a separate failure state.

Can I still change my ending?
Choices That Change Your Main Ending
These decisions decide which of the four main endings you reach.
An achievement is not the same thing as an ending. Some are earned alongside an ending, and some are not endings at all. That is why the trophy name is a column here, not the page structure.
Endings with an achievement
The Turncoat
The Folk Hero
The Patricide
The Knyazmaker
A Hero They Deserve
Together Forever
Achievements that are not endings
In the Nick of Time — A rescue condition inside the time limit. You can earn it on a normal ending.
The Blood of Dawnwalker — Finishing the story, whichever route you take.
Uphill Battle — A difficulty completion, not a separate ending.
None of these are counted in the seven endings.
Does Romance Affect the Ending?
Romance does not rename your main ending, but it can change a character’s epilogue under the ending you already reached. Check the character you care about:
Most guides document seven named outcomes, while some count additional special variations separately. This page separates the main finale routes, the early endings and the time-limit outcome, then treats the epilogue as its own layer.
Can you get all endings in one playthrough?
You can see multiple main finale endings from well-placed saves, but some early outcomes require an earlier save because they happen before the finale.
Does the 30-day timer change the ending?
Yes. Letting the limit expire produces the Time Runs Out outcome instead of one of the four finale endings.
Does romance affect the ending?
It can affect character epilogue outcomes even when your headline ending is unchanged.
Do side quests affect endings?
Some affect ally availability or epilogue state. Anca, Marat, Lacra and Ocha all carry quest-level states into the epilogue.
Can you leave Vale Sangora?
Yes. The game supports an early leave-the-Valley outcome, A Hero They Deserve, before the finale locks.
Is there a secret ending?
There are special and early routes beyond the standard finale, including the Home Sweet Home early outcome and the Time Runs Out failure.
Why was my epilogue different?
Earlier character and quest states are evaluated separately from the main ending route, so the same ending can still produce a different epilogue.
What is the best ending?
It depends on your goal. The Knyazmaker and The Patricide keep an ally at your side, The Folk Hero is the solo win, and The Turncoat trades your allies for Brencis’s deal.
Is In the Nick of Time an ending?
No. It is a rescue condition inside the time limit, and it can be earned alongside a normal ending.
