Your main finale route determines the broad conclusion, while earlier quests, deaths, romances and major choices can change the character and world epilogue you see.
Your main ending is only part of the story.
The choices you make throughout the game can also change who survives, who stays, who leaves, who you romance, and what your final epilogue shows.

Marking the hideout starts one Brencis commitment chain. The deal becomes committed only after the subsequent betrayal sequence resolves successfully. A Lone Wolf’s Hunt and Midnight Reckoning can influence related betrayal states, but one visible accept-offer line does not guarantee this finale.

[leave the valley forever]
What this controls
Early-exit ending. This is a separate leave-the-valley route, not a numbered seventh finale.
Show requirements
Choose [leave the valley forever] at the Valley exit after the prologue and before the main finale lock. The dedicated Coward Ending guide covers the leave/stay choice, achievements and when the option is available.
Some quests can close a story thread outside the five main route cards. Those resolutions are listed here as special outcomes, not as a count of “all endings.”

Your epilogue
The finale route decides the broad ending, but the epilogue is assembled from several character and world outcomes.
Locking your main finale route does not necessarily lock every epilogue outcome.

Rebels
Successfully complete the Rise at Dawn → Fall Before Dusk finale chain. Later rebel and throne-room states still shape who is standing.
Vampires
Midnight Reckoning belongs to the vampire finale chain. The Brencis deal is not committed from the hideout mark alone, and some betrayal branches stay conditional.
Independent
A Lone Wolf's Hunt is an important source for the independent assault / deal path. The hideout mark is not committed by itself.
Brencis Pact
Marking the hideout starts one Brencis commitment chain. The deal becomes committed only after the subsequent betrayal sequence resolves successfully. A Lone Wolf’s Hunt and Midnight Reckoning can influence related betrayal states, but one visible accept-offer line does not guarantee this finale.
Coward Ending
Choose [leave the valley forever] at the Valley exit after the prologue and before the main finale lock. The dedicated Coward Ending guide covers the leave/stay choice, achievements and when the option is available.
Your main finale route sets the broad conclusion, while earlier quests, romances, deaths and major choices shape character and world epilogues. Two players can follow the same finale and still see different results for Anca, Marat, Ocha or the Valley. Use the Ending Calculator to compare your saved choices; where an exact trigger is still unclear, it leaves the outcome unresolved.
The game has multiple main finale routes, but the final epilogue is also shaped by separate character and world outcomes. Because those layers combine, a simple ending count does not describe every variation you can see.
Do choices affect the ending?
Yes. Some choices alter the main finale route, while others only change character or world epilogues.
Does romance affect the ending?
Yes. Committing to Marat or Anca can change that character’s later ending.
Can characters die and change the ending?
Yes. Character deaths can alter later epilogue outcomes.
Is there a secret / early ending?
Yes. The Coward Ending is an early leave-the-Valley path available after the prologue and before the main finale lock. See its guide for the leave-forever choice and the A Hero They Deserve achievement.
