SHOP BENEFITS

What Does Bewitching Influence Do?

Bewitching Influence changes shopping in three separate ways. Rank 1 and Rank 2 adjust listed prices. Rank 3 unlocks extra goods at selected merchants. Taking later ranks does not turn the buying discount into −30% or −45%.

Rank 1

Buy for 15% less

You pay less when buying listed goods that are not priced by item level. Rank 1 does not unlock extra items.

Rank 2

Sell for 15% more

Merchants pay you more when you sell listed goods that are not priced by item level. Rank 1’s buying benefit still applies; this is not a second buying discount.

Rank 3

Unlock special offers

Certain merchants add extra items once this rank is learned. Rank 3 is access, not another discount, and it is not every shop.

Special-offer access is on. Buying and selling prices still follow Rank 1 and Rank 2.

Equipment with item-level price scaling changes with the item level, so a listed base cost is not the final price. Enter the price shown in your game.

SAVINGS

How Much Does Bewitching Influence Save?

Enter a listed buy or sell price. The result uses the same shop-price path as in-game listed goods. Equipment that still depends on item level is not given a fake final number.

Rank 3 does not change these prices further. The numbers above already include Rank 1 buying and Rank 2 selling when those ranks are active.

10,000 DENARII BUY

8,500 Denarii

A listed 10,000 purchase becomes 8,500 Denarii with Rank 1, saving 1,500 Denarii.

10,000 DENARII SELL

11,500 Denarii

A listed 10,000 sale becomes 11,500 Denarii with Rank 2, gaining 1,500 Denarii.

BUILD DECISION

Is Bewitching Influence Worth Taking?

Whether it is worth the skill points depends on how you shop, not on a single yes. Rank 1, Rank 2, and Rank 3 solve different problems.

You buy consumables, ingredients, or recipes often

Rank 1 is the direct Denarii saving. If most of your shop spend is listed non-level-scaled goods, this rank is the one that pays you back at the counter.

You sell loot regularly

Rank 2 improves selling prices. If you convert drops into Denarii, this is the income rank. It does not make shops cheaper than Rank 1 already does.

You want merchant-only goods

Rank 3 is for access: special offers at selected merchants. Take it when a listed offer matters to your run, not because it looks like a better discount.

You rarely use shops

If you almost never buy or sell, other skills may do more for the same points. Stopping after Rank 1 is reasonable if you only wanted cheaper purchases.

RANK 3 ACCESS

What Does Rank 3 Unlock?

Rank 3 currently maps 264 special items across 18 selected merchants (437 merchant listings). These are extra goods, not a further discount, and they are not in every shop.

MISSING STOCK

Why Isn’t a Special Offer Showing Up?

Rank 3 can unlock an offer without putting it in front of you on this visit. Check the merchant, the restock window, and any extra requirement before assuming the data is wrong.

You may be at the wrong merchant

Special offers are tied to particular merchants. Rank 3 does not add the same extras to every shop.

The shop may need to refresh

If the merchant uses a scheduled restock, the unlocked item may only appear after the next refresh.

The item may be random stock

Some unlocked offers can appear as part of a changing inventory rather than showing every time.

Another requirement may still be missing

Some Rank 3 offers also need a quest, choice, or story condition. Bewitching Influence alone is not enough for those listings.

A unique offer may already be taken

Some special offers do not return after they are bought.

What does Bewitching Influence Rank 1 do?

Rank 1 lowers buying prices by 15% on listed non-level-scaled goods. It does not unlock special merchant offers.

What does Rank 2 do?

Rank 2 improves selling prices by 15%. You still keep Rank 1’s buying benefit. Rank 2 is not an extra buying discount.

What does Rank 3 unlock?

Rank 3 unlocks special offers at selected merchants. It is access to extra goods, not another price cut, and not every shop.

Do the ranks stack into a bigger shop discount?

No. Rank 1 and Rank 2 are separate buying and selling benefits. Rank 3 does not add a further discount on top of them.

Does Rank 3 make items cheaper?

No. Rank 3 does not change the Rank 1 buying price or the Rank 2 selling price. It unlocks additional merchant offers.

Do all merchants get special offers?

No. Special offers are tied to specific merchants. Use the special-offers list to see which sellers are mapped.

The merchant may need to refresh, the offer may be random stock, another requirement may still be missing, or you may be checking a shop that never carries that offer.

Can I use these percentages on weapons and armor?

The buying and selling adjustments apply after a listed price exists. Equipment that still depends on generated item level has no single public final price on this page.
