Boss Progression & Unlock Help

Check Court progression, troubleshoot a missing confrontation, and prepare for the next major boss without relying on an unknown threshold.

PROGRESSION ROUTER

How Boss Progression Works

01

Choose a Court target

02

Complete tied activities

03

Check the live Court state

04

Confrontation quest appears

05

Complete the fight

06

Resolve the outcome

Brencis follows a separate late-game route rather than the normal Court Activity path. For the other confrontations, use the in-game Court screen to see when the route becomes available.

MAJOR STORY CONFRONTATIONS

Main Boss Progression

STATE-BASED, NOT A FIXED SEQUENCE

Which Boss Route Should You Work on First?

First priority

Choose the confrontation already closest to unlocking in your live Court state.

If multiple are ready

Compare the preparation options you can actually use with your current gear and skills.

If none are ready

Continue Court Activities in the region where your useful quests, Manuals, or gear already overlap.

This is a route-priority decision, not a fixed boss order. Use your live Court state rather than waiting for a universal level requirement.

Before You Start the Brencis Route

“Defeat Brencis” appears as a quest objective. Finish any quests you care about and make a separate save before committing to the final route.

CURRENT LIMITS

What Isn’t Known Yet

The exact unlock condition is still unclear. Boss-specific tactics, rewards, post-fight choice consequences, and the Brencis Point of No Return also need clearer answers.

FAQ

Boss questions

How many bosses are there?

This page covers the four central story confrontations: Ambrus, Bakir, Xanthe, and Brencis. It does not treat that list as a complete count of every fight in the game.

Who are the main bosses?

This guide currently covers Ambrus, Bakir, Xanthe, and Brencis because each is tied to a major story confrontation.

Which boss should you fight first?

Prioritise the route closest to unlocking on your current Court screen. No universal required order is known.

Do you need to max Court Anger?

Use the in-game Court screen instead of relying on an unproven percentage. Continue activities for the same vassal until the confrontation appears.

Why won’t my boss quest start?

Check the correct vassal, completed activity state, live Court screen, world-state transitions, and Journal—in that order.

Should you kill or drink a boss’s blood?

This guide does not label either option as universally better. Save before deciding and choose the outcome that fits your route.

Do boss fights use campaign time?

Check the prompt before starting each activity or confrontation; different parts of the route may use time differently.

Is there a Point of No Return before Brencis?

Finish important side content and make a separate save before starting the Brencis route. See the current limits below for what is not yet established.
