Use the upgrade preview in your game to compare the price and stat change, decide whether to upgrade or replace the item, and troubleshoot a missing upgrade action.

Its effect fits your build, replacing it is difficult, and the price shown in your game fits your budget.
CONSIDER WAITING
The item is temporary or costly to catch up
Pause when replacements arrive often, the level gap is large, or one upgrade would consume money needed elsewhere.

Restores or reforges a named item through a quest.
ITEM TRANSFORMATION
Creates a distinct version of an item rather than simply raising its level.

Mostly Restored Sword of St. Mihai, Restored Sword of St. Mihai, Imbued Sword of St. Mihai are separate item entries. Do not assume their relationship is the same as a normal vendor upgrade.
