The Blood of Dawnwalker Skill Tree Calculator

Plan your build before spending Skill Points. Select skills across Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism to see their real costs, prerequisite paths, Player Level requirements, Mutation gates and Ultimate restrictions.

For every planned skill the planner checks its prerequisites, per-level Skill Point and Training costs, Player Level requirements, Skill Points already spent in that tree, Mutation, quest and manual unlocks, and same-tree Ultimate conflicts.

HOW IT WORKS

How the Dawnwalker Skill Tree Calculator Works

The planner separates the skills you already know from the skills you want to learn. Add your current Player Level, unspent Skill Points and Mutation level if you want the calculator to check what is available right now, or leave them blank to plan a future build.

For every planned skill, the calculator checks its prerequisite skills, per-level Skill Point and Training costs, Player Level requirements, Skill Points already spent in the tree, Mutation requirements, quest or manual unlocks, and same-tree Ultimate conflicts.

SKILL POINTS

How Skill Points Work

Each skill level has its own Skill Point cost. Higher levels are calculated by adding every missing level between your current level and your target level.

EXAMPLE · PRECISION

Current: Lv.1 → Target: Lv.3

  • Lv.2+1 SP
  • Lv.3+2 SP

Total+3 SP

Some skills also require a minimum number of Skill Points to have already been spent in that skill tree. The target skill's own cost does not count toward satisfying that requirement.

The planner therefore shows both the cost of the target path and any extra Skill Points you still need to spend elsewhere in the tree.

Is 59 the maximum number of Skill Points?

No confirmed campaign-wide maximum is used by this calculator. The level-up reward table provides 59 Skill Points through level 50, but additional Skill Point sources may exist, so the planner asks you to enter the unspent Skill Points currently available to your character.

Each level also has its own Training Cost, the game's skill-learning cost unit. The planner adds the Training Cost of every new level in your plan and reports the total as Training Cost. It never converts that number into campaign days, because the data does not define that conversion yet. Read the Skill Points guide.

ULTIMATES

How Ultimate Skills Work

Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism each have three Ultimate skills. You can plan Ultimates in different skill trees, but only one Ultimate can be learned from each individual tree.

Swordmastery and Witchcraft Ultimates cost 4 Skill Points and 2 Training Cost. They require 35 Skill Points to have already been spent in that tree before the Ultimate is learned.

Vampirism Ultimates also cost 4 Skill Points and 2 Training Cost, but their access requirement is Mutation 15 instead of the 35-point tree-investment gate.

Can you get more than one Ultimate in The Blood of Dawnwalker?

Yes — across different skill trees. Learning an Ultimate prevents you from taking the other Ultimates in that same tree, but it does not stop you from planning an Ultimate in another tree. You can plan one Ultimate from each tree if your Skill Points, Mutation and other requirements allow it.

Swordmastery

  • Sword SageRequires 35 Skill Points spent in Swordmastery
  • Tactical MasteryRequires 35 Skill Points spent in Swordmastery
  • Last StandRequires 35 Skill Points spent in Swordmastery

Witchcraft

  • Aether CascadeRequires 35 Skill Points spent in Witchcraft
  • Entwined TormentRequires 35 Skill Points spent in Witchcraft
  • Runic BulwarkRequires 35 Skill Points spent in Witchcraft

Vampirism

  • Sanguine RenewalRequires Mutation 15
  • Lethal CrescendoRequires Mutation 15
  • Renounce DeathRequires Mutation 15

MUTATION

Mutation Requirements for Vampirism Skills

Some Vampirism skills use Mutation as an unlock requirement. If your Mutation level is entered, the planner shows whether the requirement is met and how much more Mutation you need.

The three Vampirism Ultimates require Mutation 15. Read how Mutation works.

LOCK REASONS

Why Is a Skill Still Locked?

Having enough Skill Points does not guarantee that every skill is available. A skill can also be blocked by its prerequisite path, Player Level, Skill Points already spent in the tree, Mutation, a quest unlock, a skill manual, or an Ultimate choice.

When the exact quest or manual progression in your save is unknown, the planner marks that requirement as Not checked instead of treating it as failed.

DAY AND NIGHT

Day and Night Skills

Skills can be marked as working during the Day, Night, or both. The planner shows this directly on skill nodes and in the skill details so you can see whether a planned build depends heavily on one phase.

ACTIVE ABILITIES

Does the Planner Include Active Abilities?

The main Skill Tree Planner focuses on the 63 Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism perks. Active Abilities are a separate system and are shown separately rather than mixed into the three main trees.

FAQ

Skill Tree Planner FAQ

How many Skill Points are there in The Blood of Dawnwalker?

There is no confirmed campaign-wide maximum. The level-up reward table grants 59 Skill Points through level 50, but other sources may exist, so the planner asks for the unspent Skill Points currently available to your character instead of assuming a total.

Can you get more than one Ultimate?

Yes, across different skill trees. Learning an Ultimate prevents you from taking the other Ultimates in that same tree, but it does not stop you from planning an Ultimate in another tree if your Skill Points, Mutation and other requirements allow it.

How many Skill Points do Ultimates cost?

Every Ultimate costs 4 Skill Points and 2 Training Cost. The cost is the same in Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism; only the access requirement differs.

How do Swordmastery and Witchcraft Ultimates unlock?

Swordmastery and Witchcraft Ultimates require 35 Skill Points to have already been spent in that tree before the Ultimate itself can be learned.

How do Vampirism Ultimates unlock?

Vampirism Ultimates use Mutation 15 as their access requirement instead of the 35-point tree investment gate used by Swordmastery and Witchcraft.

Why is a skill locked even when I have enough Skill Points?

Skill Points only decide whether you can afford a skill. A skill can also be blocked by its prerequisite path, your Player Level, the points already spent in that tree, Mutation, a quest unlock, skill manuals or a same-tree Ultimate choice. The planner lists every unmet requirement separately.

Does Training Cost mean campaign days?

No. The planner keeps Training Cost as the game’s skill-learning cost unit. It does not convert that number into remaining campaign days, because the data does not define that conversion yet.
