Stronger Than Achilles Walkthrough & Choices
Stronger Than Achilles is Anca’s high-impact questline. The walkthrough below gets you to the Font of Life; the three-way Font comparison lives on its own choice page.
Anca Romance Note
Giving Anca the Font does not by itself commit the romance. Her later romance route has separate dialogue states and a separate romance commitment.

Stronger Than Achilles Quick Answers
Coen Humanity
Let Coen use the Font
“If it’s alright with you – I’ll use it.”
Directly affects Coen's later morality / humanity ending.
Anca Route
Let Anca use the Font
“Go ahead. Make what you will with it.”
Changes an Anca state used later by her finale dialogue.
Destroy Font
Destroy the Font
“We should just destroy it.”
Commits the destroy route for this sequence.
No direct later-ending outcome has been proven from this choice alone.

Stronger Than Achilles Walkthrough
These steps follow official journal objectives. They do not invent a map route or treat raw objectives as the whole guide.
01 Start
Start Stronger Than Achilles
The journal already places the Font of Life deeper in the ruined complex. Reaching it means passing trials, and the opening objective is time-sensitive.
- Return to Anca during the day. The journal says you need to be able to cast hexes, so you have to come back in daytime.
- Anca said she would wait. Check whether any monsters are about before going deeper.
- Optional: clear the ruins so Anca can wait in safety.
02 Trials
Follow Anca's Quest Objective
The heart of the ruin holds the trials. Complete them, then get out before the place collapses.
- Investigate the idol if you reach a dead end. The journal treats it as the reason the room exists.
- Withstand the trial. The journal only confirms that this step means enduring a great deal of pain.
- Find a way forward if the bridge ahead has collapsed. The journal says there must be a way around it.
- Optional: explore hidden chambers, then find a way back to the main complex.
- Investigate the inscribed tablet, then activate the runes with Astral Communion Witchcraft Ability.
- Survive the trial when the statues come to life.
03 Font
Reach the Font of Life
The journal asks whether this chamber is the Font, and tells you to look around for clues.
- Inspect the chamber with Focus Mode.
- Look for clues that explain how the Font works before you choose.
04 Decision
Make the Font Decision
This is the quest’s major choice. The three player-visible lines are not interchangeable, and they do not write the same later state.
Before choosing, decide whose later route you care about.

Font of Life Decision
The Font is a three-way character-state decision: Coen uses it, Anca uses it, or you destroy it. Full comparison lives on the Font choice page.
Full Font analysis →Which Font of Life Choice Should You Pick?
There is no single best Font choice. Compare the three directions on the Font page.
If you care about Coen's epilogue
Let Coen use the Font. This is the only Font choice with a confirmed direct Coen Humanity consumer.
If you are following Anca's route
Let Anca use the Font. That state is read by her later finale dialogue.
If you want neither character to use it
Destroy it. We should not claim a specific final epilogue consequence from Destroy alone.
Should Coen Use the Font of Life?
This is the clearest ending-relevant Font choice.
- 1Coen uses the Font
- 2Coen state changes
- 3Coen morality
- 4Coen Humanity epilogue
Ending impact · Coen Humanity
What happens if Coen uses the Font? The choice directly feeds Coen's later morality / humanity ending.
Should Anca Use the Font of Life?
Letting Anca use the Font changes a state that her later finale dialogue checks. This means the choice matters to her character route, but it is not a standalone guarantee of one Anca epilogue.
What happens if Anca uses the Font? It is later-route gating, not a direct later-ending outcome.
What Happens If You Destroy the Font?
The game records the destroy branch for this sequence.
We do not currently have a proven direct later-ending consequence from Destroy alone.
Does the Font Affect Anca Romance?
No. Giving Anca the Font is part of her broader route, but it is not the romance commitment.
Anca Romance Note
Her later romance route has separate dialogue states and a separate romance commitment.
Can I still romance Anca?
