Mercenary's Amulet is attached to a recorded quest outcome reward.
Recorded outcome: Vicho and I were able to find out who the murderer was – it turned out that his friend, Doctor Simeon, experimented with vrakhiri teeth and turned himself into a murohn. Unfortunately, we had to kill him.. The binding proves the result-scoped reward, not that every playthrough receives it.
